So this happened this weekend. That’s right, I didn’t request Power Girl. I requested THE GOD DAMN PRO. And giggled about it with Amanda about how ridiculous of a request that was.
Highlights of Day # 2 @ New York Comic Con:
- Having Johnathan Hickman sign S.H.E.I.L.D, Secret Warriors, Fantastic Four, and Red Mass for Mars
- Having Thanos Imperative signed by 3 out of 4 people from the creative team.
- Getting $200+ worth of Graphic Novels for under $100
- MEETING BRUCE TIMM. HAVING HIM SIGN BRIANNA’S MAD LOVE & JEVEE’S HARLEY & IVY. NEARLY FAINTING/HAVE A HEART ATTACK. Also getting promotional Green Lantern Animated series posters signed by the creative team (Including Timm)
- Meeting Amanda Conner. Speaking to her in depth about the size of PG and other super Heroine’s breast size. Discussing her work in great length. Having her sign Power Girl #1. Having her sign a colored Power Girl print. Have her do sketches of Power Girl and The Pro for Jevee and Brianna respectively.
- Having Terry and Rachel Dodson sign Brianna’s Harley Quinn # 1 and getting quick Ivy and Harley sketches for Jevee and Brianna respectively.
- Discussing/debating if Marvel or DC had the better women with Michael Dooney. Also discussing our favorite Characters.
- Finding out Jevee’s cosplay is on IGN.Com
- Kitty Pride bust, Crystal Bust, Poison Ivy print, Harley Quinn poster.
This our Graphic Novel pickin’s for the day. Mike got Transmetropolitan Vol. 2, Death of the New Gods, Hellboy Vol. 2 & 3, Sandman Vol.1, Age of Apocalypse Vol. 2, And I got The Pro (aka me in comic form).
